It was obviously always going to be play offs. Which is amazing considering where we were before a ball was kicked last August! this loss could be a perfect time to lose. Gives us chance to dust ourselves down & work up some more momentum going into the final games, which is crucial for the play offs.
Can't win 'em all. No complaints. We tried, I haven't a problem with anything we've done. Exeter have played superbly. Well done to them. We go again. 8 minutes added on but I doubt it's going to change things* *Hopefully tempting fate
Nowt like an overreaction - if Wednesday had won and we won you wouldn't be saying that. Ipswich game looking increasingly vital though
Main worry is the failing to win when we don't get the first goal. Fair play to Exeter though, they weathered our initial attack and have kept pressing us. Onwards to Saturday!
Very frustrating match against a very well drilled Exeter side. We just haven’t had the answers. Plenty of twists and turns left in the season. up the reds
No doubt they’ll roll over against Plymouth in their big derby game next. ‘Easier’ games on paper are always the ones to bite you on the arse towards the end of the season.
Very very poor all round. Credit to Exeter, they've thoroughly deserved their win. So many poor performances all over the pitch. Williams, Thomas and Phillips in particular, have had howlers. Bad day at the office, onto the next one.
Fully deserved that. Think Exeter have had our number this season...tidy in places and we have been poor second half. No complaints from me....move on to saturday
He has let in five goals in two games. If that doesn't get our number 1 back in the goal, who only lost his place through injury, nothing will.
Some soon turn on the SAME players who were hero worshipped after beating Wendies, no team wins every game not even the massives.
Some serious overreacting going on. Keep.a level head. Duff will have em back to winning ways at the weekend.
This has been a fairly clueless bore of a performance but I've no complaints at all at this stage of the season. Onto the next one.
5-1 on aggregate and done the double on us. We will look back at these two games and away at Morecambe as big points dropped at the end of the season wondering what could be. All the OTT laughing at the Wednesday result for a few days has bitten us in the backside, as they will be laughing at us now. Ipswich have won in all this with us two both losing after they got a game off they should have played.
