    Be good to see the new season get underway at Doncaster. The likely heavy going will make it a difficult punting day. Tricky to put fancies up these days. With 48 hour declarations you have to be in sharpish following declarations. I've one or two bets on but given that most of them have shortened, I'd hesitate to recommend them as value bets at the reduced prices. Looking forward to the action though.

    I'm being dry b oomed so far. Had second in first at Kempton (My Lion) and second in first at Doncaster (Valdomero). Both seemed to get lonely in front. Nowhere in last race a Kempton. Looked at Foxes Tales too. Went with Buick instead (Secret State). Kicked way too early.
