Like many others I've been trying for ages to upload pictures, using the "Upload a File" button next to the "Create Thread" button below the text entry window for your post. I've tried it on my Android mobile and on a laptop running Windows 10, neither of which work. I obviously can't post a screen shot of the error message, but it says: - "The following error occurred There was a problem uploading your file. xyz123.jpg" I know I can post a link to a picture hosting site, but that's not what I mean, I can't be arsed to do that. I've noticed that some posters manage to successfully upload images, and wondered how they do it. I'm going to delve into the code this morning and try to find out what's going on.
Hasn't worked since the last update. I dont like tapatalk, but if I want to post a photo, I use that, works fine on there.
It seems to be a server error, error code 500, which is impossible to fix without access to the server code. Using debugging mode I can see the error message being generated, but not the cause of it. It's quite common for a parameter called MaxRequestLen to be exceeded if someone is trying to upload a very large file, but without access to the server it's impossible to say. However, if MaxRequestLen has somehow got set to zero, that would preclude any file being uploaded.
yeah me too, though only gally has access and I’m Not even sure if we’re Hosted or on a vps. If hosted, very limited and have to ask them to make any changes.
