I’m going to aim for the tyre factory https://www.awaygames.co.uk/away-day-guides/burton-albion-away/#1467752466853-8bcf3018-3343
With such a strong tyre connection to this match it's obvious that we will be ditching the red and white again in favour of our tyre tread shirts. No?
There's quite a bit of parking at the ground, not sure how much they charge - personally I would take the first exit from the roundabout next to the ground coming from the A38 heading south. This takes you over the old railway bridge into a residential area where there is loads of street parking. There's also the Great Northern pub nearby frequented by Brewers fans but welcoming for away fans. The ground is about a 20 minute walk from the town centre heading north towards the A38. There are many decent pubs in the town; within 200 yards of the railway station there are The Weighbridge (micro pub), The Roebuck, The Last Heretic (micro pub) The Devonshire Arms, Brews of the World (micro pub specialising in imported beers) and the Coopers Tavern. Slightly nearer to the ground are The Burton Bridge Inn (next to the old Trent bridge) and round the corner is Beeropolis (micro pub). My favourite is The Coopers Tavern, where I worked for a year or so 2018/19, has the best selection of real ale in Burton. I'll probably have a swift half or three there before the match so drop in and say hello.
Any other pubs that are away fans friendly? Is it right that there's a social club at the ground that allows away fans (similar to Accrington)?
