A few things about this. The CPS originally refused to take the case to court as they said there wasn't enough evidence. This is despite CCTV footage of him committing the offence and multiple independent witnesses.

What the hell is that about? How the **** did they decide there wasn't enough evidence to even take it to court when the evidence out there was so damning and actually secured a guilty verdict?

It's an absolute disgrace that she had to go public and 'out herself' as a victim before they would take a second look at the evidence and realise that yes there was more than enough evidence.

And finally shaun tuton deserves to rot in hell. Not just for his crime but for putting his victim through the additional pain and trauma of lying through his teeth in denying he had even been at the scene when it is proven he was.

Have you ever been there? One of my DJs used to live there. I sadly had to sack him eventually. He owed me £600 and had a couple of grands worth of PA & lights I let him keep, as he had been a great DJ for me for 6 years. His weed & rum addiction made him sadly unreliable, as I loved the bloke. That place is the "Ghetto". Bloody scary. Nowhere in Barnsley that is like that. I've lived in Leeds for over 30 years and Chapeltown is now't like Pittsmoor.
