Its 30 years ago since the false start race, which had to be re-run on the Monday. So I'll go for another one of those lol.
Btw, I think we drew 0-0 away at Charlton that day, so obviously it affected our players. ;)

Dunno what Im backing yet as I'm waiting to see if there's more rain. Soft or worse and selections will have to have stamina over the trip.
Also, the National is a lottery as there are so many unseats/brought downs etc so even if you pick a good one it may not even finish.

How did Gaillard du Mesnil win that? Moreover, can he really be still as big as 14/1 for the Grand National? He looks made for it, and gets in off 11 stone, with no penalty for yesterday.

4.10 Delta Work, hopefully en route for the National. (20/1, but will shorten if he wins this again.)

Delta Work currently best-priced 9/1. Gaillard Du Mesnil is best-priced 12/1. They are the guaranteed stayers in the race, along with Noble Yeats and Any Second Now.

Corach Rambler, Le Milos, Our Power and Vanillier all have upside potential, but all have to prove their stamina for this trip. In a very open race I still side with my highlighted selections above.

Wasn't there one that was put back to the Sunday due to a bomb scare?
