Some really embarrassing moments from lads today! Spitting on the pitch throwing food on the pitch not great at all!
Some of them seem to have more testicles than brain cells. There’s always something happens every away game. There is no defending them.
They were so friendly james Norwood cupped his ear and waves bye to them after his 3rd goal proper shithousery and didn't get a reaction.
Yeah thought a lot was embarrassing today.. did you know forest green are a vegan eco club btw if you didn’t you certainly did after the 50th chant of meat related *****
I think that was in reaction to the 'James Norwood, is a wnkr is a wnkr' during the warm up. But yes, they were very welcoming as a club in general, no threat etc. Think some were hoping for it to kick off with stewards. A bloke who was asked to move - albeit wrongly, as all other reds fans were leaning on the front barrier - didn't shut up about it from kick off to half time. Just watch the game
Liked this one……We've got Steak and Kidney pie,we know exactly what we need....Steak at the back, kidney in attack, Barnsley's gonna win the f**king league
Ah didn't know about that I know he used to play for them didn't realise he was getting abit of stick before. Did right to give it back. I imagine he will do the same if he scores v ipswich.
Many that I were in earshot of were an absolute disgrace, before during and after the match. Too many examples to list. The most friendly peaceful Club I think I've ever been to, yet lots of our fans, from 16 to 60, were behaving like absolute cap ends. People get criticised for stereotyping Barnsley. If this is what they see, I can see exactly why.
Yeh was really loud to say it was about 15 Forest Green ultras behind the goal. To be fair to Norwood he laughed it off, and then shook hands with a bloke on the side of the pitch and had a photo with a young kid (presumably FGR fan) as he was leaving the pitch after warming up. Norwood's really grown on me since he first arrived.
So many middle aged/older fellas smashed off their face today, felt like the young uns were setting the example. Strange atmosphere today, but a great performance and really enjoyed the day out. Ps that hill up from Nailsworth... I'll never moan about having to walk around the bus station again!!
It's why I'm really reluctant to take my lad to away games. I just don't want him seeing that, and thinking that's what being a football fan is. Dunno about the hill. I parked on the road just down from the ground. Was only a 2 minute walk.
