Wanting to collect his siblings, but has the wrong house. Do you (A) politely explain he has got the wrong house and try and help him on his way Or (B) Shoot him in the head House was in the good old USA , no prizes for the answer in this case
Shot him twice! Once through the door and once when he was on the ground to finish him off, to make matters worse the perpetrator has since been released from police custody. The police called it an “Error”
Awful what’s tragic is we’ll never stop hearing about mass shootings as they won’t change the law. 144 in 2023 so far alone that’s grim. Don’t know the story in the OP and guess not a mass shooting but loosely connected
Only reason (according to CNN) he got released is because by law they can only hold him 24 hours in custody in that state. Fortunately they're investigating and using forensics, so eventually, hopefully, he should be banged up soon. Reading about the victim, he seems a nice young respectable lad too. Hope he pulls through. I will never wrap my head around guns in America
He ran off and hopefully Helen. He'll survive without physical permanent damage. But will no doubt suffer mentally through the trauma.
Similar story from NY, this time though it was a 20 year old white girl. She pulled into the wrong drive when looking for a friends house as she turned round to drive out the owner at the car fired two shots at the car one of which hit her and killed her.
82 year old man shot him, said he thought his home was being broken into, didn’t know who was otherside of door just fired, good job he a terrible shot or lad be dead, imagine old lad had no one ever knock on his door, why someone his age is allowed a gun is crazy, well why anyone is allowed a gun is crazy, shows what a paranoid world we live in when old bloke thinks a knock on the door means he is in danger
Some good news about this (it that's at all possible) is that the lad, Ralph Yarl, was released from hospital on Sunday, according to his father. Today's New York Times also says the 84-year-old white man has been charged with Assault in the First Degree (which can carry a life sentence) and Armed Criminal Action which has a tariff of up to 15 years. Apparently the lad went to pick up his younger twin brothers but went to Northeast 115th Street instead of Northeast 115th Terrace......
Another incident this week where a car drove into the wrong driveway, turned round to leave and the homeowner opened fire and killed the driver.
It might sound like it to us, but violent crime in USA reached its peak in 1991 - crime rates fell significantly since those dark days.
