If it is to be bolton which is looking likely will we get the whole of the stand behind the goal? If its posh we will get around 4k tickets I think if its Derby even less
I noticed last season Wednesday n Sunderland only gave 2 thousand tickets each. IF it happens to us in away leg I hope we only give 2 thousand tickets to who ever we play .
Home end will sell out though if only half of the West can open. Lock our own fans out so the away fans can have 5k.
If we get Peterborough I reckon they'll give us the old away section on the side and keep the new stand behind the goal for themselves. Bolton should give us the whole end but may opt for upper tier only whilst Derby is pretty much set in stone, the usual away corner and about 2800-3000 tickets. Three decent trips to be fair though but all difficult games. Would we split the North? It would be great but cannot see it.
They're coming good and have a decent squad that should be doing a lot better. They looked like Championship material before that bad wobble. Also I still think the 4-2 win over Sheffield Wednesday fattered us. I got stick at the time but thought we rode our luck in that game. Bolton we were unlucky in that game. Not particularly worried about them, same with Peterborough. However, Derby and Sheffield Wednesday in spite of putting 4 past them both and doing the double over Wednesday fill me with doubt. Do you think we have a performance akin to what Sheffield Wednesday had against Newcastle in the cup in us? Likewise Derby looked pretty comfortable against us at Pride Park twice.
Why? The board have had to put millions in this season just to keep us going. We need to be selling every ticket we can, so reducing the capacity is completely counter intuitive.
Usual allocation at Bolton is 3000 and maximum at Derby is 2700 (according to Football Ground Guide).
Not as comfortable as we looked against them at Oakwell. Bolton had their share of luck/decisions against us at Oakwell. We still had further chances against Wednesday as they did against us. It’s not all one way. Whoever we play it will be tough and it’s only natural to favour playing a certain team, or not. I believe if we are on our game in these play-off games we can get promotion.
Wednesday/Ipswich had 3,200 there this season I believe. At Bolton, provided both clubs agree, I think we'd get both tiers aka 5,000 and likewise they'd get the same at ours. If not, I'd hope we'd split the North stand and only give em half.
No Love for Deby's ground especially our abject surrender to go down a few years backand its a long way from Farnham. Never actually been to Boltons ground which is even further and wont be making the treck if we do play them. Might do Peterborough if we get them
