Some comeback for Spurs. They look so slow and laboured and then Sonny gets on the ball and works his magic!
You're at your most vulnerable when you've just scored.... Spurs went OTT with the celebrations, whilst Liverpool switched back on.
Barring the opening 20 mins. I've never seen a more one sided game. Kulasevski bodges his one on one. Son hits the post and the bar.
Exactly this. Celebrating in that manner after being laughable in the premier league for a good while, not even celebrating going in front, just drawing, then that happens... I definitely don't envy being a spurs fan.
What makes me laugh is this new trend that smug, conceited Utd fans (and most of the rest of the prem) have picked up on, labelling Spurs as losers. The irony is that the majority of the Prem is made up of losers. Utd last won the prem in 2013. Chelsea are 12th and diabolical. Arsenal last won it in 2004. So while they're all pointing the finger and laughing at Tottenham, Utd should remember their spectacular fall from grace since Fergie, now seeing 4th place and the league cup as 'success'. In recent history, aside from Liverpool, City, Chelsea and Leicester, the Prem is made up of losers, not just Spurs.
And when the Glaziers decide to stay and City win the treble Gary Neville will self combust. Noisy neighbours? Fergie has now had to admit he's the 2nd greatest manager in Premiership history.
Tottenham Hotspur, a side that’s had the 6th biggest budget in English football over the last 15 years have regularly finished in the top 4, have had champions league football, reached a champions league final, have regularly won more than half of their league games in a season, have spent fortunes on improving the squad whilst managing to keep hold of their best players, have attracted some of the biggest names in management & we’re supposed to feel sorry for them because they’ve had a few bad weeks & dropped to 6th? They sacked their manager whilst he was battling with Man Utd & Newcastle for 3rd & 4th in the league. The delusion around that club & its fan base is incredible. Look at similar sized clubs, Villa have spent several seasons in the championship in the same time period, Newcastle been relegated twice during the same period & Everton in a real mess, in huge debt & could well be relegated. These are clubs that have genuinely had it tough. Daniel Levy’s done a great job.
