The manager must have been to blame for this. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...s-players-apologised-video-blanking-kids.html
Not clicking a daily heil link but I suume you are referring to this story https://news.sky.com/story/leeds-un...1-premier-league-loss-to-bournemouth-12870873 Note that not all the players ignored the fans
Yeah good that some players said hello, although times have changed haven't they. As a kid I wouldn't dream of stalking out Barnsley players at a team hotel I am not booked at, when they are on the trip to work.
To be fair, what 20 year old looks up from their phone, ever.? Footballing zombies, it’s the new rock n roll..
Are the headphones stuck to players heads as a fashion accessory. Ignorant two hats. Or maybe only the ones who might get stick for playing crap. Allus getting off the bus wearing em. Rule 1 "i must not engage after getting off bus. I can blank out autograph hunters and those who want to shake my hand. Best invention and excuse ever" The older generation players on fekk all a yard in comparison must think what a set of overpriveleged whankers.
Uncle Mick the dinosaur dingle O' Mac is available lol, and apparently he still has a clean CV, regarding no relegations.
My mate's a Leeds fan - I jokingly said after they were beat by Liverpool that it was time for Big Sam
This is such a non-story. The family have gone on record as saying that the angle this is shot from doesn't show that most of the players smiled at the kid. It also doesn't show at least one player fist bump the kid and someone (possibly the manager) spending a few seconds with him. The family have photos of this stuff too. The family also weren't too fussed, understanding that the players were running late and under instruction not to take time with fans. And that they were on the way to a game and needed to be 'in the zone' so to speak. Fair play to Leeds, they've issued an apology that wasn't requested or needed and have offered the kid a full mascot package including travel to and from the game.
