Two things that bug me a little.

There are thousands of heroes in this country. War heroes, community heroes, people who have saved lives. They can watch on TV because we need to make room for celebrities from another's country to get invites.

Charlie boy has refused old thrones that were used by the queen mother and George VI because of sustainability and cost. Except it has been stripped completely and essentially remade using brand new materials. So not really achieved sod all in sustainability, not saved any cost and has destroyed two pieces of history. Wouldn't it have made much more sense to put the old thrones in museums and then use new ones than to destroy them?

Ok I've changed my mind. There are many things. Seeing that grinning tax dodging ***** rishi sunak, the racist bitch braverman and the man who ruined childhoods Boris bent johnson

Interesting tv coverage so far. Rip-roaring views of people sat in church and other people walking into church. Two hours of that so far. Exciting times eh?

Interesting. Everywhere I saw said he was expected to wear his military uniform but it looks to me like he's gone for the traditional ill-fitting clothes from Oxfam look.

No other country is capable of putting on a show like this. It makes you proud to be British.

Are the horses usually as fidgety and a tiny bit out of control as that?

Yeah. I’m proud that the people who are ‘running’ this country are cheating, lying racists, who have lined their own, family and friends pockets at the expense of us all. Blame the victims of their car-cashing of the economy. As for God bless our King, I’m neither religious or Pro- Royal and I don’t have a problem with those that are.

If people think this ends when the Coronation’s done, they need to think again. Welcome to Great Britain 2023, Land of Hope and Glory if you’re a rich Tory

No junior rugby games this week because of this *****. Sorry just no interest at all. Costing far too much when there’s people much more needing of the cash.

It's the only monarchy in the World that expects an expensive show to be put on for someone who is already King, by virtue of the fact that the State proclaimed him so in the aftermath of the previous Monarch dying. There's no money to help those in greater need but plenty for a junket like this.

Hopefully on the next one, William sees sense and actually does something truly reforming and scraps this pointless exercise of extravagance.

Great that we have Premier League fixtures and the 2,000 Guineas today. Enough entertainment to leave all the royal flummery to those who enjoy such nonsense.

Hopefully well before that the country sees sense and disbands the Monarchy. It's an anachronism in what should be a 21st Century democracy. They have a veto on laws that would impact on them (including telling the BBC what they can or can't broadcast about them).

Yes. They’ll have taken them out this morning to work off some energy so they are not too full of it but they will be next to horses they like and don’t like, en masse, surrounded by crowds, so some of them are bound to be a bit excited or irritated. Probably be worse on the way back
