We’re due to play the top team - Durham - this week but we’ll still probably be favourites and rightly so, looking at our squad

 

The draw against Glamorgan means it's now 17 County Championship games without a win, equalling the worst run in the club's 133 year history in the competition. Failure to beat Durham next up will create a dismal new record.

 

We have all these supposed top players but I’d bin the lot of the big time names and start building from the bottom up.

 

It's going quite well at Durham, with a lead of over hundred, seven wickets left, and Bairstow/Malan at the crease.

Finley Bean got dropped for Masood to make his debut, which was harsh when opening with Lyth he played a big part in our draw against Glamorgan. He was subbed in for the second innings because Shakeel injured himself running between the wicket in the first innings.

 

Shakeel has officially got concussion leave and Bean is his replacement allowed.
However, he played on after the head injury but showed symptoms later.

Bairstow seemed to be limping slightly and putting more weight on his good leg
