I thought Phillips was anonymous again today and clearly had no understanding with Cotter about who he was marking/pressing.

Kitching had a bad game in terms of his distribution and no idea how Cadden got player of the match.

that being said, based on 46 games this season they all deserve to start so we’ll see!

Barry cotter can’t play, he has ability but he’s tactically and positionally inept.

Because sponsors always pick their favourite player.

if there is no Andersen, then we're in trouble because Williams was totally inept today. In fact he's not played well for a few weeks now. Also we need someone better than Cotter as RWB

I’d have given MOM to Norwood for his first half performance.
MD’s half time teamtalk should have said “Right Nords - you’ve earned your shirt for next week. The rest of you go out and earn yours.”

Today’s selection suggests that Cundy is least likely to play out of the options if Andersen isn’t fit. Personally, I’d have put him in the middle of the back three with Ismael like instructions to just head and kick the ball away from our goal, and leave Kitching and Thomas as the wide centre backs.

As it is, it looks likely to be Williams in the back three with either benson or cotter at wing back. To be honest, I’d rather play a back 4 than go with either of those options

I'm sure Anderson will be fit and ready.Seen him close up today and looked happy and well.
    The team picks itself.
    Isted
    Williams Thomas Anderson Kitching Cadden
    Phillips Connell Kane
    Norwood and Cole

With Watters Tedic Thomas Benson at the ready.

Thomas isn't a centre defender, neither is Cundy. Anderson is key to our chances.

    I concur.

Well I would if you really mean Andersen.

Cadden put cross after cross in after beating his man. Thats his job going forward, defending he was decent - he was the only pick for motm for me.

I thought Kane or Connell or Bobby Thomas all played better than Cadden quite comfortably, but that’s just my opinion.

I don’t think he will play. Think Anderson will be back and then Williams will go back to RWB.

They just weren't very good crosses today.

Let Duff pick them, on today I'd be guessing due to a few going through motions

I agree about Norwood and Watters up front. Cole looked powder puff today.
I’d be tempted to play Benson in place of Phillips if I’m honest. Phillips is capable of a 20 yarder now and again but without that offers very little.

I’d consider that as well. Bolton will target our wing backs, so need the wider midfielders to help out. Kane does it on the left, Phillips not so much. He should’ve been closing down the player that crossed it in for the first goal

That first goal was all about kitching mistiming his leap for the cross.

And then having no clue where the ball or his opponent was. Yes, very poor by Kitching, and also not sure why Thomas was doing going on the line rather than close down the striker. But was also poor to allow so much time get the cross in. Just a very poor goal to concede with a number of players that could’ve done better
