Been on bbc football site on our game and Derby fans blaming BARNSLEY for them not getting in play offs, NOT ANOTHER team blaming us for their failings lol.
It doesn't make it right of course, that it was just an end of season game for us, and Peterbrough wanted the win more than we did. But I have absolutely no sympathy for Derby at all, being the financial cheats that they were. And if their fans really think what happened today was a disgrace etc, then they are more idiotic than I thought. What about the previous 45 games ehh!!.
However you read this, it is questionable how suspect refereeing decisions have impacted the outcome. I have no love for Derby and hope they go bust, but today that decision was as bad as we have had all season and I can understand their fans especially in the light of what went on at Oakwell! Another incompetent? Performance or….
To be honest ..I thought the referees got it exactly right today....cough lol ..helped karma to attain one of its finest hours, by coming back, to bite the backsides of the likes of Derby and also took a right chunk out of MkDons and of course Wigan and Reading who already knew they they were down..... In MKDons case...set up on the back of another clubs history and to be fair we could have been in that situation, should Conway had his way. So good to see their demise.....i just want them all to have another bad outing next season .....not one to hold a grudge but I do have a long memory lol.
Don't think you should ever wish for a club to go bust mate. I get that clubs like Wednesday, Derby, Wigan etc are all horrible clubs - but they do contain thousands of normal fans like you and I. I can't imagine what I'd be like if we didn't exist anymore, and I wouldn't wish it on any other fan, even Wednesday fans...
It was in the context of what he had just booked him for. The 2nd challenge was actually more worthy of a booking than the first one that he shouldn’t have been booked for.
To be honest I can't recall how bad the first was but in totting up straight after the first I get it. However his performance today ,he as to look at himself today and ask himself if that warranted a yellow then the Norwood foul from the goaly letter of the law penalty red card. Burton away rinse and repeat. Not shedding any tears for Derby ,but when their fans see highlights from our game then their sending off seems even worse.
Just on that mate....if we are beaten by Bolton over the two legs, I just hope it is for football reasons, not some dodgy decisions from officials and Bolton's ahem proffesional approach to playing the beautiful game.
All happens in less than 1 min too. First one Luca Connell had megged him and then went down easily (yellow card). Next one he put a late challenge in on Kane who had beaten him and then hacked down. Should have been off - ref let him off cos he had just been booked but in reality he should have been carded again and sent off.
