I think Laura Woods and McCoist are great. Rest not so great. I think the reason I like Laura more and more is just the sheer crap she takes online, and the way she shuts them down. She does it with humour and humiliation, especially the ones who love saying women football is rubbish and pundits should be male in male sports etc. Think she's ace.
I don't get the love for McCoist. Can't think of any that I think are particularly good. They all have their moments of lucidity but generally talk crap and use cliche after cliche to describe what's happening.
Problem with Richards is he offers nothing other than a laugh. His punditry is terrible. He was enjoyable originally as it was all new & different & is sometimes ok as an alternative to the seriousness of Keane, Neville, Carragher, Souness etc but when he’s in the studio with just one other pundit like yesterday with Redknapp he’s way out of his depth
Fara Williams indeed. A fantastic pioneer for the women's game, but I find her voice unbelievably grating. Stephen Warnock. His media career is even more mysterious than his England caps.
I'm sick of Clinton O' Morrison, and I'm glad to see his name high on this list of shame lol. I really went off Glen Hoddle some years ago, during some England qualifiers on Itv, with Clive Tyldesley. He came up with a lot of ignorant rubbish about the standard of players in the Championship, compared to the Prem, and it sounded like he didn't have a clue.
His patchy football knowledge is the least of his worries, compared with some of his religious views. Wibble wibble.
Ohh yeah, although I remember him saying hes not a born again Christian, as he kept getting called. And what was all that gabbling about Eileen Drewery.
Lucky to be in an era of us having very few left backs & Leighton Baines been homesick & hating international duty
True. Yet still only got capped twice! I'll be honest I had no idea he'd ever played for England until I saw his Wikipedia entry today!
Pretty much all of them tbf, Sue Smith is my stand out candidate, but Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville and Carragher very strong contenders too!
