Weren't showing as on sale yesterday, and today it's saying they're only available to season ticket holders with 140+ points. The amount of times information has been missing or wrong on the ticketing page this season is unbelievable. It's ticketmaster I'm blaming by the way. It's their only job, and there's always issues.
Yup, just tried to buy tickets. Complete shambles! It went from early yesterday being able to buy tickets, to later on only being offered hospitality tickets for end of season celebration meal to this morning needing 140+ loyalty points plus S/T to qualify for tickets….. Just out of curiosity how are the loyalty points earned. I’m a season ticket holder of 30 plus years and appear to only have 100 points.
You get so many for a season ticket and so many for every other ticket you purchase. The longer away trips gain you more loyalty points. E.g. I think I got 3 points for Cambridge but only 1 for Hillsborough.
Do they ever advertise how many you'll get for each trip though? And I'm a little confused by mine. I've got 50 points for this season and 70 points for two seasons ago (reds reserved plus and all that jazz) but sod all for last season
Haven't we just had a bank holiday..? Or aren't some allowed them if it doesn't suit?. Just give em a little time to update
I think your missing the point. The home leg tickets were on general sale over the weekend and now a clear mistake has been made, and the tickets are unavailable to buy for anyone who hasn't got 140+ points.
As I've posted elsewhere, my points are also incorrect. Why can't the club have a page or a document on their website explaining the points? I've searched and can only find the article from a few years ago Red reserved etc saying 50 or 70 points per season ticket. There is nothing advertised about the points and the distance. Burton gave 2 points this season but others only 1 when they seem to be as far away / difficult to get to. When we have such a small allocation for Bolton I can see lots of disappointed fans being unable to get tickets due to this issue. Come on Barnsley/Ticketmaster sort it out.
Bank holiday has nothing to do with it. They went on sale before the bank holiday. They’re making a right balls of it.
How do you find out how many points you’ve got? I’ve tried to log on & everytime I do it just puts me in a queue
When you're logged on, click on your profile icon and it'll say. I've got 135. Presumably there's a lot of traffic this morning which is why you're in a queue.
