Play-off Momentum

Better to be in them and have a chance than not get there. I didn’t think we would be 4th so I’m happy whatever happens (except losing to Wednesday at Wembley obviously).

 

I thought Swansea should have been the best team to meet in the Semi's a few years ago. Because Brentford and Bournemouth were allegedly better footballing teams.
Although Cooper and Swansea finished the season poorly, they had us worked out that season. And eventually when we scored at theirs in the 2nd leg, it was too little too late.

 

Hope that isn't Duffs team talk! We've as good a chance of getting promoted as we've had all season. We finished 4th by our own efforts. That effort can easily see us beat Bolton and whoever else is in the final. COYR, I believe you can do it!

Asked what he would say to those who questioned whether Barnsley’s momentum has ebbed away, Duff told the Chronicle: “They are the same people who said we had no chance this season, that Barnsley are rubbish, there’s no culture and they sell their best players.

“No one gave us a prayer this year. In the last 30 games we would be top of the league. That’s momentum.


“We’ll stick to the process, wire in with concentration and intensity. Hopefully we can deliver two performances against a very good team in Bolton.”

 

Hey that's ace if Duff has really said that, I totally agree with him.
And it restores my hopes again that he will have us looking like a different team again, to the one we've seen recently. Up the Duff!!.
