    My own take on this is that he was just genuinely being positive in an interview, and used some words that people have seized on. For a CEO to say 'we've got big things coming and we would love everyone to be a part of that' is pretty generic and the type of thing I would expect a CEO to come out with, when trying to promote their business. I think whatever these plans are now, it's likely a section of fans will say 'is that it'? I wouldn't be surprised if he's secretly regretting those choice of words, and is now trying to temper expectations. He's already saying 'well we think it's big, but others might not'.

    My own view is that it will be something new. Something we've not done before. Whether that's the women's team, collaboration with BMBC, some resolution on stadium investment, a share offer. My own money is on the women's team. I don't think it will be anything to do with recruitment or contracts.

    Spot on, I like to speculate and it’s nice to dream about bigger things at Barnsley, but I’m sure your right, I would hope no one gets their knickers in a twist just because their own expectations where way off the mark

    Whatever it is it sounds like more good news which is always a good thing

    That said, anything less spectacular than launching Toby Tyke into space will be a let down :cool:

    A bit worrying that they still cant reach an agreement regarding the ground after nearly a year of negotiations.
