Ive already got my tickets and time off from work planned and dragging Caleb out of school early to travel for it already - also shared the poster on my facebook page yesterday too. :)

PS the "believe" slogan is giving me Morais flashbacks! ;)

Obviously some ST holders have relocated for the game I can understand a few who maybe want to go with family and friends and there not being seats where they sit, but it’s truly shocking I half understand waiting to see if we are still in the contest after full time tomorrow but if not it will be embarrassing to see next week

I think some are jumping to conclusions a bit. People have mentioned a glitch in the system, I know my uncle is going to Oakwell today for the third time this week to try and sort tickets, after previous unsuccessful trips and no joy online (I don't know the ins and outs). I can't imagine more than half the fanbase are waiting on tomorrow's result before committing to the home leg. Sounds like ticketmaster has been an appalling failure over the last week.

Ever thought that ST holders might be going on holiday? It's that time of year. I'll be on a cruise for the final so will miss that.

if you look close theres a lot of single seats left on their own, most of these that were reserved will be kids STs, who’s parents have chosen not to buy them due to the KO time being past bedtime or due to them buying the kids ST because it’s cheep and only bringing the kids when they are stuck for childcare, so they don’t usually attend every game anyway.

Back row of the Ponty for instance, this was all greyed out yesterday due to all general sale ones being sold, so all the available ones today are ST seats, on the back row there are currently 19 available seats and 13 of these are single seats, that’s 68% of seats being single ones if you apply it to he whole stand.

Take those single dots away and there’s not that many remaining

There'll be numerous reasons for people not having bought their seats yet, and all valid. I'm still a bit surprised at the amount of tickets we still have to shift though.

If we don't sell out the limited capacity we do have (given half the West Stand is shut, and not using the North), it shows how much work the club still has ahead of them.

But yesterday the Ponty was shown as sold out and there were less than 300 tickets remaining in the east stand.

Looked today and it's as if it's tickets for a pre season friendly.

It was showing seats available wasn't it? Which meant that ST seats were greyed out. If those seats weren't taken up they're now available for general sale.

At least that's how I understand it.

Yesterday the season ticket holders had their seats reserved. We had until yesterday to buy them reserved.

All released to general sale today. And a bloody lot of st holders haven’t purchased.

    For whatever reason.

We have three st’s. Me. The boy, 15, and the youngest of my two girls, 8. The 12 year old isn’t in to it.

Only me and the boy are coming most likely. I have bought the third ticket though, in case that changes. It’s pretty late but it is a Friday night.

Trouble is we fly to Florida the next morning, we’re booked into the Newcastle Airport premier inn that night - and turning up there at 1am or whatever, to my Mrs, other kid and parents (who will go up before us) is about acceptable and not marriage ending if it’s just me and the lad that’s nearly my height - and when he loudly made it clear he really wanted to go. The babby - not so much…

If I thought we’d sell out in the family area of the east upper I’d have left it for someone else to buy, but one odd seat in the very far top corner at the north side won’t be missed.

To be fair looking at the disappointing sales thus far, I reckon up there might be a bit lonely for us. It’s never exactly rammed up there.

I understand the argument about folk waiting on tomorrows result but I don’t go along with it. We might be 3-0 down and out of it. They’d still deserve a full house and a roaring reception. Poor show for me. It’d be a hell of a lot easier to have not bothered for me, and if we get through I’ll miss the final as we are in Florida until the beginning of June. But we will be there no matter what next Friday night. I was gutted when I saw the game was to be 3pm Saturday as we will be mid Atlantic at that point. Once they pulled it back, we were going.

I understand the apathy from a lot of the fan base but the season ticket holders are those that stuck by them after the atrocity of last season, the ones through the very thinnest of the thin still recommitted. So I’m surprised and disappointed in equal measure that so many are yet to commit.

Some will but I reckon hardly anyone. Lots of reasons people won't be on holiday atm such as waiting until school holidays.

If we only sell about 14000 tickets for the home leg then surely only 14000 would be going to Wembley.

My mum's in Spain so that's -1. People who have retired, or who want to avoid school holidays, could be away. But I agree it can't be that many.

Hahaha. They will be coming out of the woodwork then wouldn’t they?

But in all seriousness what would we sell? 25k maybe?

Less I reckon. It's only League One and I won't be alone in thinking the novelty of visiting Wembley Stadium has worn off. With a cost of living crisis the prices will be ridiculous too.

That's what we sold for both trips last time, over 30k the FA Cup.
