"For me, the pressure will now mount on Barnsley, playing at home." Actually as much as I can't stand the fella I agree with him. All the pressure on us in the 2nd leg, should have been a couple of goals to the good today.
f uck off Keith We are much the better side. Only thing that will result in them going to Wembley is a fluke goal, keeper error or bad refereeing decision.
That’s just not true. Well the bit about should have been two up is but the pressure the same for both sides.
And that's doing Bolton a disservice, they are in the play offs on merit. Plus your comment about being much the better team is irrelevant if you can't take your chances. All the pressure now on us as the home team.
So if you ask the Bolton manager which he he would prefer a one off home tie or a one off away tie which would he chose
1-1 makes it a normal game for both teams now. Don’t have to change the mindset - just treat it as a normal game….. and I think that works to our strength at home.
As much as I don't mind Keith Hill, I think he's completely wrong here. We've got a clear advantage now considering how much stronger we've been at home in the second half of the season.
Can't disagree with any comments on here that our home record has been fantastic but I just think the play offs bring added pressure. Hopefully we go well!
We do have a fantastic home record but the play offs bring a different pressure. Hopefully we go well.
We have the advantage, at 1-1. A one goal lead would maybe have resulted in a "let's defend the lead" attitude. These players have no fear, they have to win on friday and I fully expect them to do just that.
As there is for Bolton too! More so for them if anything as they've not capitalised on the home advantage.
If we go out on Friday and play our positive game (rather than waiting/hoping for something to happen) Bolton won't be able to live with us.
