Keith Hills from that way. I think he has a dislike for us. He was never going to be positive. And if our players can't handle abit of pressure no point in going Wembley
Why ? Wembley is decided on the night , surely pressure is on both sets of players especially the side who failed to make use of home advantage today .
He's an absolute ***** don't take anything from him As gospel. I despise the bloke ,he as a real problem with us as fans and got a loyal bfc suporter chucked out by stewards at BFC . As far as I am aware he as not been back. What a *****. He hates us as much as I hate him .
He's saying that as he never liked his players having the 'pressure' of playing at Oakwell. In other words, Reds fans getting restless after 17 passes between Wiseman and McNulty in our own box only for Kennedy to give it away. It wasn't the cosy, forgiving 4,000 at Spotland he was used to. Biggest problem with him and Flitcroft was that they were 'football men' and thought fans knew nothing. It bordered on disrespect when we paid their wages and had watched more Championship football, thus knowing what the level demanded, than they ever did.
Both sides have a great amount of pressure on them. It’s a play off semi final. The home crowd will hopefully be an advantage to us, but if they frustrate us, it could become a hindrance
I went to Crystal Palace away under him we had 781 passes Palace couldn't get the ball I was sat with the Palace fans they were so pissed off . They scored in extra time , we never had a shot on goal in 90 minutes . What an absolute 100% p$^&#$ as a manager. He loved himself more than BFC fans clear narcissistic behaviour.
He was a commentator on BBC radio Manchester which I suspect is to Bolton as radio Sheffield is to us, plus he’s a Lancastrian. He’d be telling em what they wanted to hear
The way I see it there’s no pressure. If we win we have a nice day out at Wembley, if we lose I don’t have to pay for a nice day out at Wembley. As I’m skint, there are attractions to both options, so no pressure!
Happy with that. If the biggest fůcking idiot in football thinks we've got an issue, thats a ringing endorsement for me
To be fair Keith may be from Bolton but he's certainly not liked by their fans after his stint there . Only Rochdale fans seem to have any time for him
There's only one thing I know about Keef these days and that's that I'm glad Michael Duff will be our Head Coach on Friday night and not him!
I agree. Great performance wasted. Don't deserve to go through after way we conceded straight after taking the lead. Tedic and Cole didn't work either. Bolton showed very little and we were too tentative at times early on. As the game wore on (barring the ten minute spell where we gifted them their goal) we bossed it. Too many extra touches and brain dead hair brained passes in advanced areas. Too much shooting when too close to their defenders. Cadden scored our goal but him and Phillips wasted some great opportunities in and around the box. Also a mention for Williams. Every time the ball dropped to him in advanced positions he bottled it and took the safe option losing momentum. Reminded me of Kieran Tripwire in the League Cup Final v Man Utd. Looked tidy and his running stats will be decent but he was hiding in plain sight for me. Second leg to come but they won't play that well again. Bolton will be on cloud nine. Played off the park and in with a shout. It's right all pressure on us.
