None whatsoever. Other than take an interest in Dundee united results. Cos of Ian. And wish em well. Do want the unfashionable clubs to do well in England. Those that the fans deserve some success. The Hartlepool/ Rochdales of this world. Hate the premier elite with a passion. Other than that, Love Barnsley hate football.
Thank you Hooky but looking very much like we will be going down. Hope you don’t lose any interest while we are in the championship mixing it with the likes of Raith ICT Dunfermline and Partick.
I like and one day would like to go watch Innsbruck (Wacker lol) not doing so well at the minute, Sogndal in Norwegian 2nd Division, Mainz 05 and Ferencvaros. Would like to do a tour of the Bundesliga, watch Bayern, Dortmund etc. In action.
We'd gone up for the weekend Ian. Gutted it got called off. We were outside pub on easter rd only 4 of us (women went shopping) . With neanderthals giving us that stare. wondering " which one shall I kick **** out of" Across the rd outside another pub. ( i think they'd played leeds a week ealier. And there had been running battles all afternoon according to those we spoke to) Glorious sunshine. Then as you say a Downpour of epic proportions. For half hour I guess. Glorious sunshine again. Match off. (They did actually end up playing on one of the training pitches. But we only found out after.) But we got talking to Hibs fans inside the pub, who then took us to their supporters club for the afternoon and invited us all back at night. Great company and made us feel very welcome. Swapped badges etc. I don't know if you are a Barnsley fan of one from your neck of the woods mate. But wouldn't mind a visit to united. Especially in a friendly with us. (Have a word lol) Is Dundee a good place to visit for shopping etc. Would have to find summat for the women to do.
We're in Brazil and Argentina in January and I'd talked t'other half into going to a Boca game. I sold her on the atmosphere. Unfortunately I don't think their season starts til late February so that's out. I've got my eye on going to see Bahia while we're in Salvador but she doesn't know about that yet. I also want to try and get to see Once Caldas when we get to Colombia. Went past their ground last trip. They're probably the smallest club to win the Libertadores, the South American version of the European Cup (can't bring myself to say Champions League). She doesn't know about that either but I can see myself having to hire a taxi for the day to get to that one. There's no way her sister's going to drive us an hour and a half up into the mountains for a footy game.
You what?? Lived in Daegu for 2 years and been to see them play many a time, including a few away trips with the 'Ultras'. Saranghae Daegu!!
I know how you feel. Today I've looked at the ticket map more times than I care to mention, tried to remember what clothes I wore when we beat Plymouth, Derby and Wednesday and last night I dreamt that we lost the second leg 4-0. It's only Monday.
Nope. None. Watched a few Man Utd games when i was younger, but not overly fond of them since their fans trashed Oakwell. Watch Hallam in the non league, but would be happy watching any non league game. Only one team I would say i genuinely follow.
Got to do a link to my new local club Kerry FC. Their first ever season as a League of Ireland club and, at the 14th time of asking, their first ever win. For all you armchair analysts.....knock yourselves out.
