Let them because at the weekend when the used it we sang our own songs to the tunes they played, only at home with more of us we could do it even louder.
So they were slagging our support off and they need a drum to sing a long to? Shouldn't get in the ground with it, be on the banned list. If you can't sit with a bottle of pop you shouldn't be allowed in with a fecking drum.
And yet on TV, all you could hear was their fans. I'm all for anything which improves the atmosphere, because it's been flat for so long at Oakwell. Hopefully with the numbers there on Friday, and the occasion it will be better.
Glad the club said no and I hope it was our idea for the 2k tickets. Show our opponents 0 respect on match day. In to them from the first minute Coyr
Jesus, who are these muppets? Its not 2001 anymore. I know lets all bring voo-voo Zella's and rattles.
I thought the opposite @Archey. When they sang, they were louder which is unsurprising given there were 18-20,000 more of them than us. But I thought our support was great and you could hear us on the TV often and overall more than them. The Luca Connell song went on for ages! And whilst I agree the atmosphere has been flat at Oakwell for some time, I think it's been better in the second half of the season, particularly in the games v Derby, Wednesday, Plymouth and Ipswich (until half time).
I didn't make clear that I wasn't criticising our fans, of course Bolton's would have been louder, but barring the games you've mentioned, Oakwell's atmosphere has been poor. Peterbrough and Morecambe in particular if we're talking the second half of the season.
I completely agree, only twice i really heard their fans on TV. Kick off and after they scored. Our fans were immaculate
I predict Oakwell's going to be rocking. The play-off semi v Walsall was excellent, this is going to be better!
