“….will receive a ban for the start of the new season”. Surely that should read an immediate and lifetime ban. In other words no Wembley trip either, IF we get there.

Luton and Wrexham could have no fans next season.

Made a good pitch there to stay off the pitch.

Well they’ll be a few thousand short then, because when we win there’s going to be pandemonium at the end, no way are all fans staying off the pitch

Talk sport Jim White had an hour venting over Luton's pitch invasion whilst a week earlier wanking into a frenzy about Wrexham no mention of the 10k on the pitch

Two words. First one is fck, second one off..
I wouldn’t encourage anyone to encroach in another person’s place of work.
If that’s your point of view, you had better expand that, far way beyond Oakwell.
Manhandling an over excited little lad, whom you have driven up to some scarf waving hysteria ?
    Who’s writing this crap.. o_O

I get that they have to discourage people from going on the pitch, and personally I wouldn’t go on, but as you say, when the club are literally trying ( and rightfully so) to get an atmosphere to fever pitch, then expect over- exuberant celebrations. It could get nasty if Stewards get heavy- handed, it’d only encourage any element that wants a ‘bit of bother’ anyway

If you're at the match with kids, keep them off the pitch. It's not difficult. Take some responsibility for the actions of your kids. If you let them run on the pitch it's quite right that you and them get banned.

I’ve got my running spikes and yellow mankini ready. Fully baby oiled up to reduce the grip of the stewards.

Exactly. Not that difficult to understand, and pass on to kids, that creating an atmosphere doesn't equate to running on the pitch.

Not really. I've taught my kids right from wrong.

There is a tannoy announcement at pretty much every match saying that it's illegal to enter the pitch. Why would anyone think they could or should be allowed to get away with it?

Don't go on the pitch, it's not hard. People are talking as if there's some mysterious force that compels people to jump the advertising board and they can't be blamed for it.

Well my guess is they’ll be many more around that age that won’t have gone to the match with an adult, that what will go with an adult

Yes I get that, and I hope no-one goes on, especially when there’s the u18 final on the next day, and a local final on Sunday, I believe. My point is, emotions will be at fever pitch and I believe it will be inevitable many will run on the pitch at the end. Just don’t be so harsh and heavy handed with the few that they manage to stop

I’m afraid anyone who thinks people won’t keep off the pitch if we win are being naive. To want these people punishing with bans etc, just for that, when the club itself is encouraging a raucous atmosphere is very unfair
