I don't know. I haven't been to Barnsley since August 2019. The last time I drank there The Shakespeare had it on and so did The Mount. However, the landlord in The Mount sold up and he was the racing fan.

First five races are on ITV 4.
You’ll have made enough money by then so you won’t care about last two

    FWIW:

    York

    1.50 Persian Dreamer
    2.25 Queen For You
    3.00 Haven't a clue in this one.
3.35 Broome [Siskany is weighted to turn the form around from Meydan, but I think Ryan will be crafty and eke out a bit more from Broome. Great race to watch.]
4.10 Mostabshir [NAP] [I think Crowley has picked the wrong one.]
    4.45 Too difficult.
    5.15 Too difficult.

Decent cards at Newmarket and Newbury too.

Yes, Mr D! But at my advancing age one card is enough for me to concentrate on! :D

I've started lowering my stakes and perming my bets. 20p e/w lucky 15's in time order. £1 e/w singles and multiple selections on races. Having odd fiver win bet here and there but get more enjoyment hoping a decent multiple comes in. Don't do placepots because I like a return no matter how small.

Live the dream let me down for £1909 at Newmarket in the guineas meeting but I still drew £202 from 3 winners and the place. The last meeting at Leopards town. I drew £127 on a e/w lucky 63 with just one winner.

It can be done and it's best chance I have of decent win at the stakes I can afford to place.

Main bet is Gosdens “ Queen for You “ in 2.25.
I’ve changed my mind about Broome … only 2 wins in last 2 years but he’s a game horse and will be involved methinks.
