Hi BBS, Sorry for the extra thread, I'm seeing lots of information smattered around but wanted to get some concrete info from people who've used the system this morning to purchase tickets I'm not currently a ST holder albeit with plenty of booking history and wonder if you could answer these questions ahead of tomorrow's release of tickets to the general public. 1) the Ticketmaster queue.. can you start queuing before 9am or do you have to start queuing at 9? Im supposed to be commuting tomorrow so if I need to be in the queue before 9 I'll need to rethink whether I WFH tomorrow 2) Wembley are selling tickets in blocks? So for example if I wanted to buy tickets in block 137 I have to wait to start queuing until they start selling them in that block? Or is there a way to wait at the front of the queue for your desired block to open? 3) I have previously paid for multiple season tickets on my account. The second season ticket holder was named, am I right that I'm limited to 2 tickets or will the other named ticket holder on my account make me eligible for 4 tickets? Thank you
My experience today was fairly straightforward. 1. Entered site at 9:15, no queue 2. Entered category and blocks came up and allowed me to choose 4 seats. 3. Sorry can’t help with this as I just chose 4 seats in my name
I can answer Q3, if it's the same as for ST holders, you don't get an extra 'allowance' for people in your network, so I presume you'll be limited to 2. The other ticket holder will need to log in and do their own. If you want to make sure you get tickets together, you could log in to both accounts at the same time, select the seats and put them in your basket, you then get 30 mins to complete the transactions.
As I understand it, the other ticket holder would have to get 2 and you get 2. But you have half an hour once you select seats so should be able to get 4 together as you can choose your exact seats by picking from the map rather than them being assigned to you.
1 - site queuing seemed to open about 8.45 this morning. But it shifted in no time. People were in within 5 minutes 2 - I don't think there's any way to hold your place in the queue as such, to wait for blocks to be released. I think it's just a case of waiting for blocks to be released. But as per point 1, you'll find there isn't any queue beyond the first 5 or 10 minutes 3 - as I understand, people seem to be suggesting you cannot use your ticketing network to extend your allocation. This is the big issue for many, i.e. you will be limited to 2 tickets, regardless of how many people you have assigned to your network
Yep, smooth. I joined at 8.55 ......... 1891 in front of me. 9am on the dot the site kicked into life and said "are you still happy to queue". Answered yes and was told I was approx 18 mins from ordering, which soon auto-refreshed to 9 mins, then I was admitted to choose at 9.06. Bit of a hassle trying to choose four, cos almost as soon as I picked 4-in-a-row, anywhere, they had gone and I had to guess another area. it was never going to be plain-sailing, these things never are, but it was no better nor worse than queuing for Take That tickets for our lass.
Went on at 8:55am 1550 in queue. Said 20 mins. So opted for email message back. Re Entered site 9:02 After email told me to. A tip. Put number of seats before going to map. Wanted 6. Not 1. Wouldn't allow me to edit kept throwing me out. So started from scratch. (had to delete emails as it wouldn't let me get away from where I was, if that makes sense) Got straight In with a new booking request. After the initial frustration at 9:25. As someone else said. Get your heads together at the same time. 2 per transaction. Gives you 30minutes to complete.
If logging into 2 accounts can you use same bank card on both transactions? Presume we will be able to?
