In 2016 we went to the pub (The Green Man?) for JPT But for the Play-Off we just used the Fanzone next the stadium.
We found the novelty of the pub ok but much preferred the Fanzone experience and watching the area round the stadium gradually build up.
Does anyone know if we will have similar this time round?
I`ve got some Wednesday mates who I`d love to have a pint with pre-match but I`m imagining that this is likely to be difficult.

Club will confirm soon they say. Green Man was a novelty for Oxford. Plastic glasses or glass in another pub swinging it for us to go elsewhere.

Not sure mate I just know we have been allocated the east part of Wembley same as when we played Oxford went to the green man then and was a good atmosphere in the sun

We got a 4 pack from the supermarket half way up Wembley way and sat with other Reds taking it all in.

Did pubs for Oxford some were a pain, Green man says it’s 5 mins walk some say 15/20 the Green man was miles away up a hill.
For Millwall we went to Sainsburys drank on grass, added bonus we could throw empties at their fans ( kidding obvs all disposed not littered).

I think they've knocked that on the head now. No supermarket sales around Wembley between certain hours on Matchday.

Green Man can handle the numbers, but honestly it's *****. Daft queues for pints that had been poured about 15 mins earlier. Decent atmosphere, obvs, but happily swerve it this time. I'd rather have a drink in town then just head up for the game.

I'd like to know the answer too! Mentioned this to my cousin who supports Wednesday, as I fancy meeting up with them before the game.

My memories of the Green Man are going there for the Tottenham evening match with a couple of work colleagues and watching BFC fans generally embarrasing themselves (peeing in folks gardens, grown men kicking bins over etc ......)
And yes, service / ale was a bit crappy.

Did the JPT there. Ridiculously packed. Bit like that corner of the WSL last Friday.

That deserves a thread of it's own. You made it through, I gave up. Sad night of acceptance for me that the West has served us well but time for something new.
    * Massive group stood smoking - it's banned.
    * Massive group of Stewards to watch out for banned behaviour ......... stood doing nowt save for causing further crush. Not sure what they earn, but has anyone ever told them they have a job to do, other than just stand there?
    * Snake of a queue of folk trying to get served at catering - I mean, that is a joke of an event on a normal matchday.
    * Folk barging against folk trying to get the other way.

I will be heartbroken to leave it but the time has come. It is not befitting the 21st century supporter.

Why on earth would you not just go to one of the dozen better areas easily reachable from Wembley in north/west London for drinks? Camden, Hampstead, Shepherds Bush, Hammersmith, Covent Garden, even London Bridge and Richmond albeit a bit further. Then rock up to the fanzone for a final beer and some snap. Green Man is a bag of sheite.

I'd need to remortgage to drink in Covent garden all day.
