Unless I've got it all wrong, this 2 ticket limit per person has taken all the joy out if the build up to the game for me. I go with my two children and so the fact I can't get all three of us a ticket next to each other is just adding stress. It almost makes me want to not really go. Is there a way around this. It seems a really silly decision?
Agreed. I've already chalked it and decision made now My eldest is trying to get with his mate & dad. So hopefully that comes off for him. No way could I take one lad and not the other
I really feel for you. Surely there is something that can be done ? @Loko the Tyke are the club aware of this mate ?
Don't chalk it off. There's plenty of ST holders on here who will help you get the tickets you need, using their spare allocations. Pop your name down in the thread Jay has created. I reckon there's still quite a few ST holders waiting for more middle tier blocks to be released.
If there is anyone who can help get tickets that would be massively appreciated. We're a family of four but there's only me with login details and a purchase history ( I normally buy the tickets for the rest of us). The other 3 have loyalty points but seem to have no purchase history. So at the moment, it looks like none of us will be able to go as we can't pick which 2 will have to miss out? Any help would be brill
a season ticket holder can help you out, or you can buy on 2 devices/browsers at the same time and get 3 together.
Thanks for advice. I will have a look. It seems a really odd policy though and could be easily addressed
Agree but we're dealing with EFL rules here. This isn't something the club have enforced on supporters through choice and there's currently no work around other than trying: - Get another name added to the system and then either phoning the club tomorrow, or logging on to Ticketmaster twice (from the two accounts) and selecting seats next to each other - Finding someone with a season ticket. Lots of offers on here including myself
I do appreciate that people are going that extra mile for others. But my lad is already in process of sorting a ticket seperately. It maybe Monday blues, but I honestly haven't got the energy to mess about jumping through hoops. And that's without thinking about getting there and back. It seems equally as much messing getting a coach ticket by the looks. Yes, cutting my nose off I know. I'd rather at the minute let a ST holder help someone who genuinely and desperately wants to be there and keep their family together. Cos at the moment, Im not feeling it
Looking at owlstalk, despite the fact they obvs have much more demand for tickets, there doesn't seem to be the carnage that we are experiencing. Perhaps the takeaway from all this is use more stages, so you avoid general sale, where the efl 2 ticket rule kicks in. Even if that means each day is split into 4 hour blocks (other play off teams have done this) and we go down to say 10 or 5 loyalty points which will cover non STH who've only been to half a dozen games or less in the season. There's a minimum 5 days to play with as they are all digital so no allowance for postage required. We just need something better, as I'm pretty confident we'll be doing this again, one league or another, within the next 5 years.
@Loko the Tyke - would I be OK to DM you? At the risk of sounding about 90, how would i do it on here?
Why is the EFL rule different for us. My mate supports Carlisle and they can just buy ten tickets per person unrestricted
Guessing that's because its not been deemed 'high risk' by efl/syp. Stockport, 6 per ST tomorrow, 9 each on general sale 4 hours later.
Cheers. Appreciate the offer. See my reply to others. Happy to let you sort the other geezer out, as my lad has confirmed his ticket with his mate/dad so he's sorted at least
Click my profile and select message. Or check the top corner for inbox and then send a message from there. I don’t use tapatalk though so my advice my be terrible. Give it a try though as happy to help!
I suppose there is a slight saving grace in the fact you can pick your seats from the interactive map, and keep them held in your basket for up to 30 mins. It's a bit of a faff, but if 2 people log in together then it shouldn't be too difficult to get seats together. If the adjacent seats get snapped up, then drop them out of your basket and try again. I just can't get my head around the 2 ticket limit though, it's absolutely unworkable for most people, and will be the biggest obstacle to selling out our allocation.
ST holder here with 5 remaining in my allocation. DM me if you need help - must have posting history on here to avoid owls just signing up.
