    Some of the most odious attitudes I’ve ever seen from them lot just because they have more fans it makes them no different to us. We just support our football team. To quote Kev Keegan. “ I'll tell you, honestly, I will love it if we beat them, love it! “ sadly I don’t think we will though.

    Or good You keep backing Wednesday then. I don't know I don't think Wednesday are a great footballing side they're good at what they do get ball forward and down wings. Squads ageing but have some good individuals but it's. Final out can happen

    All the pressures on them. The nations took notice after their dramatic comeback, they’ve lost twice to us in the league & they’ve got an ageing squad. If they don’t get up this season you’ve got to expect the budget to reduce next year & most of their better players are only going to get worse.

    If we don’t go up we might sell a couple but that’s nothing new whilst the core of the group is only getting better

    I'm confident whatever the result Monday we can build on this season if we keep duff. There's a feel good factor back at the club and none of the teams coming down worry me too much.

    It's definitely one of the weirdest standpoints in football; measuring their club's status by crowd size. They've got more fans than us, hence bigger gates. Which bit of that don't they understand? It's not fu¢king rocket science

    Not quite sure why they make such a big thing out of it.

    I said in a thread I made yesterday; only 3 times since 2000 have they achieved an average annual attendance over 25k. That’s only 3 times more than us in 23 years.

    the current population of the Sheffield metropolitan area is 746,000 people. Assume that half of them are Blades and you’re at 373,000.

    the population of Barnsley is 247,000 and according to the Wednesday fans half of them are Owls!

    I don’t understand why they consider an accident of population density to equate to performance levels on a football pitch.
