Been incredible this year. Their scouting network is something truly exceptional. And I have no doubt when Mac Allister leaves this summer they'll already have him replaced. Same with Caicedo and Colwill and whoever else!
True, they had a few really good seasons. I think a large part of that was their academy also though. I genuinely think this Brighton side can maintain it for a lot longer. They've already lost their manager and backroom staff and finished of even better. Its subjective, but I think the football Brighton play is so much better than Southampton did. They've had some cracking talent though. Shaw, Lallana, Van Dijk, Lambert, Mane, Clyne, Wanyama etc - shame its all gone down hill for them. Its ever since Dave Watson left
Macallister will be taking the place of Kalvin Phillips bench warming at City when he's sold in the summer. Colwill has had back to back really good seasons, with two different clubs. It wouldn't be a surprise one day to see him as an England regular.
I wanted him called up to England this time around, instead of Maguire. Mac Allister is supposed to be going Liverpool; City said they're still in for Bellingham, and if not him, Kovacic from Chelsea. If I were them I'd try offer Phillips to West ham along with 50/60 million for Rice. Suppose it all depends on if Gundogan leaves and perhaps then City will be looking for 2 new signings
Rice they won't let go for less than 100 million. It would be more like Phillips and 75-80 million pounds. West Ham want Harvey Barnes for around 40 million. City can forget Jude and their fans wouldn't want him since it's come out he sees them as a plastic club. He's always had his heart set on Real Madrid.
Very much doubt City would sell Phillips for less than 25/30 million given they paid 45 million just last year. So 60 million plus Phillips, Arsenal are set to bid 92 million for him. Can't see it happening though, I actually do think he'll go Arsenal. Mason Mount is doing the rounds too, 55 million. Good player but the Chelsea fans don't half overrate the guy.
