    What they should do is go into admin...get some dodgy Nigerian owners in to by pass the p#ss easy fit n proper test ....then sign Kiefer Moore and 3 or 4 other wage like players they can't afford and blame absolutely anyone when they get another strongy worded letter from the EFL.

    So they’ve not really been punished then?
    If he doesn’t put money into an account points will be deducted and 3 points from this season already applied. Why? What’s the point is makes no difference they are still relegated and still get the same money.

    They have been punished. 4 points next season and a further 4 suspended to June 2024

    No You are missing one if I read this correctly
    3 points applied for this season - as you say as meaningless
    4 points applied to next season
    4 more points suspended for next season - but added if he doesnt deposit the money by next week , or fails to pay on time at any time next season
    so a minimum of 4 points for next season could easily be 8

    Looks like the egg-chasing bummers have missed the first wages payment after their recent sanction.

    They’re going to have an 2023/24 season opening points tally like a Siberian winter temperature.

    It's not even the wages. It's the money that the EFL said they had to put in a pot last week when they docked them points
