Agree with most of that ST. But I draw the line at may the best team win. I dont give a toss if it's the worst performance ever from us. The win for us is non negotiable. Have a chat by all means. But I'd rather say hope you lose at the end of it. I have many friends who are wendy fans (I know. but I did grow up and work alongside many of em) who 100% wouldn't say that to me, or me to them. Cos it'd be a lie.
Yes, but I imagine there'll be a combination of not wanting to spread the Wednesday fans too much further into the West end of the ground (behind the goals) and not wanting to open more blocks than they need to (save money).
I don't see the issue with the club statement. There would be a much bigger issue if they hadn't said anything and we all found out through owlstalk. Everyone would be up in arms - 'they've got 6000 of our tickets, where's the statement from the club on this'? etc. And as for the safety issue, surely the club need to remind the EFL what happened in 2016 and let our supporters know they're not cool with the decision. Well done BFC.
Lets hope they put in more than a little bit of netting to segregate the fans this time cos the line of stewards they put in failed too.
