Taking mine with me even with predicted temperature, took it ever since Athersley Reds made it a thing against Derby with the exception of Bolton away.
In town earlier saw a bloke with an half n half one, was so tempted to say something but he was with kids.
I thought it was bad enough v Oxford but we aren’t playing Real Madrid we are playing our closest rivals, what is the thought process? Unless your house is 50/50 even then i wouldn’t be seen dead in one.

A half and half scarf is a thing for morons who don't understand football.

Wife fetched my son one to take. I’m not keen, but like you say, at least it isn’t half and half.

Has to be the worst 50/50 scarf ever in terms of us as a club. Who in their right mind would even try to sell them let alone buy one?!!!

I thought this was the half and half scarf for our play off final, but it's actually the new Crystal Palace kit for next season.

Chill out people, if a kid, or even an adult, wants one, so what? It’s not for me but I’m not going to police what others want as a momento of the day.

Support one or the other. Not both. Sacrilege. Other mementos out there. Eg shirts with play off final and date if you want that kind of thing. There are plenty of options, a half and half scarf is not one imo. Never have been, and none more so than this one. Only possible excuse i could give. mams a wendy. Dads a red. Or vice versa.
But why would anyone marry a wendy.

Half and halves won't be good sellers to the die-hards on both sides. Day trippers will still buy em.

People don’t need an ‘excuse’. They’re not cheering for both teams, they’ve just bought a piece of memorabilia, it’s not that deep.

Have to say, I don't get half & halves at all, unless you're a tourist. Never gonna get wound up by others having em, it's just a scarf. I just don't understand why any actual fan would ever want one.

Would any actual fan of a team buy one. Loads of stuff out there as a memento. Its harmless as you say for tourists or split loyalties, but not as a Barnsley fan. for me. Or any of my kin.

I've still got my "Barnsley Fc, Hunter's red army" scarf, from 1981. :)

I've got "We are premier league" and "Wembley 2000" but can't decide which....although I've never taken the Wembley one to Oakwell so I might stick with the tried and tested....
