    I grew up in Bolton on Dearne where you had a choice of 5 local clubs plus Man U, Leeds etc. Brothers and sisters supporting different clubs was quite common, my sister was a bit of a Wendy (never went to matches) so there were interesting dynamics in our house. Me and my dad outnumbered her though.

    Might not be Barnsley town centre but are all part of the Barnsley borough. Be happy for you to pay my council tax if you think not. ;).
    That's like saying (by your reasoning) nowhere outside the city of london is considered to be in london. A city that measures 1 square mile. A population of 9,000.
    And believe it or not there are wendies living int tarn. :eek: and dare I say. always have been. :(.
    Yes it's a fact the closer you get to the boundaries loyalties are divided that will be natural. But how many busses leave for old trafford from tarn every match ?. 2 at least to my knowledge.

    I’m in the minority of the fans I know in Wentworth. Millers Owls & Blades about equal. Me & Adam who runs the George are the only cool fans in this village.
    Though I did see a Tyke today, but not a resident, I don’t think. I said c’mon Barnsley, as he passed me & the old Teddier.. :)
