We created good chances, thesave from Norwood was fantastic, the miss from Connell is why we have him. We desrved the lottery of penalties, but can't say that we desreved to win over the match (not that they did either)

So harsh on connell that. Haaland has missed multiple sitters and he plays for the best team in the world. Connell is easily championship standard

@YTBFC I know that what we say gets through to them but please make sure they know how bloody proud we are of them. No shame in that defeat at all, we know what the Reds played for there and we love them for it.

Also I've got to say, I haven't been for a few seasons now due to personal issues but that performance today has just made me think about trying to overcome them and give it a go again!

I agree, and I don't blame the loss on him in anyway. In another thread you'll see that I distanced his miss from KO's as he didn't have 3 or 4 touched to get the ball wher he wanted it, he took it first time. He was there in the position to take the shot but his shooting probably isn't he best part of his game.

 

Personally I think Thomas should have had confidence to take it forward and shoot himself, but can hardly complain as Connell did have plenty of room. Ifs and buts, ey
