Remind me what the point of it is if they still get decisions wrong?

Be interesting to see if we get an apology over the non pen, just to rub salt into the wounds

Disgusting. I mean for the red card why didn't they at least tell him to come and have a look at it? He was so quick to brandish the red card FFS.
If he still thought it was a red after viewing it then there's no hope but when there's VAR then why not make use of it.

I can’t understand why he doesn’t tell him to take a look at it ?

I presume the ref must have said he saw it but decided it wasn’t a penalty

Says it all when a lot of the main pundits are basically saying we've been ****** over.

What makes it even worse is if the penalty is given then the Phillips challenge never happens and they don't even have the opportunity to get that wrong.

Hard to believe it’s not used to benefit certain teams when it suits. To have one ref totally removed from the situation and get both decisions wrong needs some questioning tbh.

So sorry for you, can't imagine how you feel, refereeing standards are so bad but to have the technology and still get it wrong is beyond incompetence, it's cheating.
Hopefully you come back stronger next season.

For me the sending off was harsh but the challenge was clumsy, but the pen non decision was awful and Smiths challenge on Mads in the first minute wasn't dealt with correctly either.

He's rumoured to be getting promoted to Greed League - he'll fit in well there, making sure the Lutons and Blunts get stiffed by the paymaster clubs.
