Possibly but then lost on penalties with only one striker on the pitch. Someone should have picked up Windass when he arrived unmarked

Norwood was a beast and very nearly won us the game.

 

Don’t disagree, was just asking the question if we’d had a big central defender on for a striker with a minute to go would we have defended that cross better. It’s not a sleight on Norwood, or on Duff for cancelling the sub.

 

Midfielder not tracking the run, full back not stopping the cross. There’s always a reason for a goal however in this case tiredness and being a man down who could tracked the run was a massive mitigating factor. No fault attached to any of our players

As I said above I agree we don’t win on penalties without Norwood. Still wasn’t the question I asked though.

 

And the two poor headers by Bobby Thomas, the second of which went to the feet of their player and started the move which led to the goal. I agree that no blame is attached though, they were just tiredness.

 

If Cundy had replaced Norwood we'd have lost 3-0 by forfeit as he'd have been our 6th sub by my reckoning.

Isnt an extra sub allowed in extra time?

Because the board was going up and the substitution was going to take place until Norwood said he was OK to continue.

 

Norwood for Tedic was a concussion substitution and anyway, you're allowed to make an additional substitution in extra time.
