Anyone that went yesterday non ST holder £100 off current price might entice a few who might be tempted.
So loyal ST holders who went yesterday and all season pay £100 more? Hardly fair. The incentive was the early.bird offer.
In the going / not-going poll last week, I noticed that just over 6% of those who responded seemed to be those who were lost during the Conway / Lee period and evidently haven't come back (they checked the 'not going - got out of the habit during the Conway / Lee period' box). I think the marketing team should be targeting them now. We need to attract new supporters but we also need to win back those we've lost. Their details will be on record, I'd be sending them an offer - have 3 games for free / a half season ticket for £50 or something like that. Some may say that's not fair to those who have paid the full price but a) I chose to buy at the price I paid and was happy to do so and b) I want them back as I enjoy it more when the ground is full and the atmosphere is better. So, I'd be in favour of one-off targeted pricing to get them back. What do others think? And for those who are in that category, would something like that entice you to come back and try it again?
The biggest boost for season ticket sales would come from some signs that the club will build on this season. Ideally some sort of confirmation that Duff will be staying along with some contract extensions being confirmed
If I was the club I’d be trying to target all the +1’s that went yesterday. They saw a great atmosphere and Herculean team effort, surely some would want to convert.
