That's not the possible squad though as we will bring in replacements. I think Collins will want to go as he's been messed about. I don't see any of our loans signing.

    You missed selling Styles
I would be surprised if we sold all 4 of those listed above - Id be happy with selling Styles Mads and Collins - any more than that and I will be disappointed especially if we sell Connell
We wont see Martin Tedic or Watters back ( at least I hope not for Martin at least )
Not so sure about Thomas or Larkeche but think unlikely

I’m hoping we’ll sell Styles for a couple of million so we won’t have to sell Luca.

Can’t see Mads staying. He deserves championship football.

If we don’t sign Isted (which if no deal was already in place probably isn’t that likely), I can see us sticking with Collins.

Williams will probably get attention again. Cotter was signed in anticipation of this in my opinion.

We got some decent freebies in last summer so I’m hoping we can pull something like that off again.

Been banging on about it for months now but the key is keeping Duff. If he’s still here then we’ll be in with a shout of promotion again.

There’s no way our starting squad will look like that. We’ll bring in between 5-10 I reckon, assuming all the loans go back and we sell one or more of Mads/Connell/Williams.

I don't think Collins as been messed about. He got injured and his replacement kept his place on merit.

Unfortunately, I expect us to cut our cloth accordingly which probably means we will have to sell a few to generate revenue. Personally, I feel selling the following three should enable us to balance the books and maybe generate a little surplus for some incoming. Values taken from Transfer Market which are probably ball park:
    • Styles (3.5M)
    • Mads (2.2M)
    • Collins (700K)
We've got Luca on a long term deal and there's no need to sell however if we get a crazy offer or he wants to leave then we'll have to reconsider.

The ball park figure for Styles must be a ball park somewhere in Oklahoma it's so far off the mark. 750k if we're lucky. Maybe, just maybe if the right club is interested 1.5 million for Andersen and Collins maybe 500k again if the right club is interested.

I’d expect us to get in the region of 300k for Callum Styles.

I can’t put a price tag on Connell. But £2.5 million is probably as good as we’ll get, with add ons.

    200k for Collins
750k for Mads, which would be a bargain, but can’t see us getting anymore with him only having 12 months left.
    400k for Williams

And the surprise one would be someone taking a gamble on Devante Cole, could see a cheeky 500k bid from a lower Championship team, maybe even Wednesday.

From what I'm led to believe there's been discussions in the background about extending Williams (unsure if it's a formal contract offer) however the finances are just not stacking up with what he would like vs what the club can realistically offer and now BfC are in a weaker position given it's at least another season in L1. Therefore I'm pretty certain Williams will move on along with Andersen. It would be a real shame to lose these 2 but the club has to sell to try and balance the books.

I'd let Anderson go on a free next year we have more chance of getting promoted next season with him and that would be worth far more than we would get cash for him now.

Keep Connell as he is under a longer contract, money to come in for Williams, Styles and Collins if we can get Isted on a free.
Some may be tempted to make a offer for Cole as he hasn't done his reputation or value any harm this season.
A team with the spine of Isted, Anderson, Connell and Norwood will be pushing for the top next season, add a few decent loans on top of Kane Phillips Cadden and hopefully Shaw Cundy Thomas Benson Jalo and Cotter come good next season.
We just need to sign another striker.

We'll fetch more than 1m each for Styles and Andersen. In fact, we should be asking almost double that for Mads, otherwise, may as well let him see his contract out.

What I'd like to see (assuming Mads is sold)

    GK - Isted, Searle

CB - New signing (Mads replacement), New signing (Thomas replacement), Cundy, Moon, Kitching, McCarthy

RWB - Williams / New signing, Cotter
    LWB - Cadden, Kitching

CM - Connell, Kane, Russell, Benson, Phillips, Wolfe

CF - New signing, Shaw, Norwood, Cole

From the little I've seen of him, Cotter can't be our first choice RWB, his defending isn't good enough. So if Williams is sold, he still needs replacing. Mads and Thomas need replacing, which would leave us with 6 CBs covering 3 spots. Ideally, 2 for each position in the back three. If Cadden is injured, Moon can play the left of the three, and Kitching move to wing back.

Given the 6 midfielders we have contracted, I'm not sure there's room for Thomas. But wouldn't be disappointed if he did re-sign, assuming it was for a wage that reflected his status (i.e. sub).

Up front, Norwood needs that extra year triggering, but we need to bring a loan signing that will be first choice. We had too many loan players just as squad players recently, and that's no use to anyone.

I would imagine Barnsley and Millwall have a set fee for Styles agreed at the time of the loan.Anderson may go as he.s in his last year but you never know he might sign another 2 year deal now he,s captain to see us over the line next season.I think Connell will definately be here,he,s a young lad only 22 last week he,ll learn and improve here more than being a bit part player for some Championship team.

Haven’t Millwall already stated there’s a 1.7m buy out for Styles and they don’t want to pay that?

Not getting anywhere near those numbers for Styles and Mads. Half at the very best.

But Collins didn't lose his place on merit. He was our number one and our own player. I think we'd have got promoted if he had been recalled when fit again.
