https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/foo...ance-record-after-huge-wembley-effort-4163484 Felt like we took more than 8k to Wembley, am I misunderstanding summat. Number of fowls on that twitter thread referring to themselves proudly as Attendance FC.....think they've missed the pìss take.
Although I’ll be the first to admit - no idea where the 24k were sat, as it didn’t look that many tbh.
So almost 90% were Wensdayites. If the tories had their spin doctors they would be back in power in a shot. Massives my a**e.
I keep saying they are deluded but this report is SUPER DELUDED ,no way did they have 66,000. Looks like Barnsley had hardly any fans. WHY this OBSESSION with attendances???????
More to the point why are we obsessed with their stupid quotes. Doesn't make em superior. Just dimwits.
I wouldn't call it obsession (yet lol) but they really gawel me ,going to have to stop reading their bile.
I'm more on about threads being created on the same subject. (Merge into one) Outnumbered maybe but outsung. And dont forget they had double the amount of day trippers we had. 20k+ As I explained to a wendy walking up Wembley way. after he'd commented within earshot. Laughing saying "Not much red" I thought (in my reply) Laugh at that yer pr1ck.
Loads of empty seats in the first tier below us. Not just the odd missing seat but loads empty. These blocks were supposed to be sold out. There was quite a lot in the middle tier above them which was blanked out as unavailable on the ticket site. Did folk go up a level and sit in the middle tier instead??
Whether there were 44k, 64k or 364k, they were all cardboard cut-outs for 122 minutes and 55 seconds.
Wednesday whispers it keeps going up and up. 44k official, they cannot have a clue about how many were in boxes/complimentary. In years to come, the red card, playing with 10 men for over an hour or possibly the score will all be forgotten, it will be about when they took 70k to Wembley. They still base what their stadium capacity needs to be on a game against Wycombe years ago when it was a fiver entrance. A very strange bunch that seem to base a lot on myth and not fact.
It definitely said 66K when I read it earlier - 46K is a bit more believable but even then I am skeptical - they had 37K +6K tickets = 43K I dont know how many we sold but guessing between 23K and 24K so 23K Barnsley 43K fowls + 8K unattached but maybe a few fowls got into the unattached group
Wonder how many were on a freebie. This lot of Wednesday diehards in block next to me looked bored all game and didn't come out for extra time
You're behind the times, it's up to 443,754 now https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/foo...ance-record-after-huge-wembley-effort-4163484
