    How much did folk pay?
I know of somebody going down to the cup final which happens to be same day as a rail strike.
The price is £60 a car and people's drives are asking £50.

We went to Rickmansworth, paid £5 for the car park next to the station. Absolute breeze.

Think we paid £12 for two days. Doubt I’d do it again though. We were stuck there for 2 hours. Christ knows why.

We parked in a residential area of Croxley (one stop from Watford on the Metropolitan line) for nowt, pleasant 15 minute walk by the canal to the station. With a decent pub and shops including a chippy. I'll park there again next time.

Very nice lady offered me her drive for a £10 charity donation. Best luck I had all day.

Pinner is not a bad shout. One tube stop more, but much easier to get away.

Canons Park, one down from Stanmore. Surprisingly lots of spaces when we got there just after 9.30 ish.
Bit smaller than Stanmore but much better ingress / egress. God knows why they don't improve things at Stanmore; single entrance / exit point makes it chaos, and could do with peak time traffic lights to allow a few more cars at a time to turn right.

Parked on a drive 2 mins walk from stanmore station thru Justpark. Lovely lady even rung me the day before to make sure all was good. £8. Striaght in striaght out after. Defo do again, even for London visits not involving extremely cruel, but expected defeats against rivals that once again relied heavily on the referees incompetence.

Couldn't get in at Stanmore or Cannons Park so used Queensbury tube station (small car park to rear) £3 for the day.

Parked there a few times and despite it being small, always seem to get a space.

Queensbury, next station down from Canons Park.
Parked for free as the pay machine was out of order even though the info board said you could pay card, cash or app.
A few people tried to pay ... and failed. So I took a chance and no problem. Lucky me !
Afterwards it took me about 15 minutes to get to the big roundabout at the end of the A1. Easy peasy. Back home to north Lincoln at 9.15pm.

We parked at Stanmore on a driveway too as we went to the ABBA thing as well while we were in London.

Lived there for my year in industry (Chemistry Degree) 1977/8. Never been back but I bet it's changed a bit since then. The station was on a big grassy roundabout if memory serves.
