KACPER ŁOPATA JOINS THE REDS Club News Barnsley Football Club is pleased to announce the acquisition of young defender Kacper Łopata on a free transfer. Continue reading on the official site...
They stopped paying him, and terminated his contract when he complained, according to Sheffield Star. Hecky wanted to keep him at Sheff Utd, but moved last summer for game time. Looks like he ended up at Woking when Southend terminated his deal because he couldn't sign for a league side. On paper, this doesn't look a bad signing.
That’s it. He invoked the termination himself didn’t he, as he wasn’t paid on time. One player to rarely do it. I thought he’d crop up with us at some point.

Why Barnsley?..... "“It’s a great club to invest my future in,” began our latest recruit. “It’s got a great history of developing players and I thought I could do just that here.” That is the right answer!! Let's hope he is as good as his word.
I’m told by a Blade, that this is a very good signing. He’s determined to play first team football, and that’s why he left Sheff Utd, as they wanted to loan him out again. He has potential to be a Prem Player with the correct coaching. Doesn’t want messing about - just to get out and play (and be paid on time).
