Not the most exciting of games, in that there weren't many boundaries but the bowling attack was superb, no weak link!
Pleasure to see an overseas player doing well for us, as it's been a while. Not got his customary wicket tonight, but an excellent economy rate on a small ground and him and Mike got us to a respectable score.

Chohan was fantastic. Thought Revis bowled really well as well - they all did really. Obviously Thompson got half the wickets too.
Really good watch that. I feared the worst early on with Lyth and Malan going cheaply but thank goodness for David Wiese and Ben Mike. It was lovely watching them launch sixes and fours with minimum effort. I liked Wiese in the Hundred last year when he was playing for the Leeds based team. For a 38 year old he is still brilliant at the game and I cannot understand why he bats so far down the order. Maybe that's his natural place but, either way, he is a joy to watch with both bat and ball. I was surprised to hear that we had lost the last three matches to Leicestershire. They always seemed to me like a team to always beat. We certainly made them look second rate tonight so it's amazing that they beat Durham in the last match. Anyway four in a row for Yorks and let's keep that going all the way through to finals day.

Crazy it is. Have you seen the difference in run rate for the top two Durham and Worcestershire ? I bet Durham are quite happy to begin with a “D” if there’s a tie on RR
