They've spent a lot, they also have a lot more income than pretty much any other club. I'm not claiming they're anywhere close to self-sufficient because they're not, but they don't do any worse than any other club these days. They just had a swift rise because of it, rather than it happening over time.

Jealous, try to claim him for Sheffield but he puts them right every time!

I'm not bothered about their spending. I'm bothered about where the money comes from. I'm surprised so many Barnsley fans turn a blind eye to this

Massively chuffed for our John. But am I pleased for Manchester City? Am I ****.

I saw Barnsley beat Manchester City many times on a level playing field, in the days before financial doping ruined football beyond repair.

    Bitter? You bet I am.

True, but I wouldn't single City out particularly.
Keep in mind where the last World.Cup was held.
From the very top down to us fans handing money over and watching games on TV that bring in advertising money, we all accept it.

    Why are pigs replying?

We are not their rivals are we? And more to the point what's the champions League Final got to do with the play offs.

    What a weird bunch

They are City staff that have each played their part in the campaign, just not on the pitch.
Every right to be celebrating IMHO.

Imagine the pigs putting a tweet out about one of their academy graduates winning the champions league.

    No I can't either :D:D

This might cheer you up. Agnew cracks one in from about 30 yards, it beats Paul Cooper, hits the post, bounces out, hits the stricken Cooper on the bonce and rebounds into the back of the net. It's still as funny now as when I saw it live at Maine Road.

My step daughter was at that game, in the city end. How sweet does that make it for her tonight having gone through all that ****, yet my son has chosen United... WTF.
