    Sheff wed shirt on sale tomorrow for them. Priced at £65
    Now i know shirt prices have gone up but surely this is not now what they are going to be for most clubs

    What I’ve heard so far on Fanatics, doesn’t bode well. One thing we’ve seen time and again though, is fans will let the Club know if they get it wrong. Anywhere near £65 just won’t end well. I’d like to think they already know this.

    I don't want to be a neg but...
    I had a look on Fanatics other day and wasn't overly impressed. Bring back the towelling jumpers from the 90s I say. And my crew neck admiral black jumper (96/97) is still going strong, and still fits me 27 years later :eek: Must've been massive on me at 10 yr old

    What gets me is you can buy prem shirts and some championship shirts for half the price if you know what I mean . So how can they say costs will have driven price up

    We were assured by Khaled when we last met at Oakwell that the club maintain control of the shirt and pricing and the predicted massive increases that were talked about at the time we signed on with Fanatics isn't going to happen.

    He and Jon Flatman also talked about the benefits to the club and fans of the deal they've got. It did sound good, and much more beneficial than the previous outsourced deal we had, It sounded like we are likely to see a much better range of products on offer, better demand planning, better management of the store(s) etc since they have the expertise to do that at scale. We'll also see the Barnsley brand feature alongside some of the biggest in sport.

    I think most of the negative stuff about Fanatics comes from the US market. Everton and Villa. Millwall all use the company as far as I can tell. (Villa just announced a new extended contract after a 450% increase in sales)
    I suppose time will tell whether it's the right decision or not. Hopefully it will be.
    Gally is right in what he said. Re the announcement.
    One or two folk taking it as the exciting upcoming news that was mentioned around the same time. but Khaled was a little taken aback and said no that's not exciting. Basically. give him more credit than that. Still pondering what that one could be myself
    Unless it's the announcement on here the other day. Lee wants to sell his shares. But I cant see how that would be exciting to the general fan.

    So when I go on holiday I'll be able to buy a knock off of our kit alongside Real Madrid, Barca, Milan etc :D

    I'm just hoping we get a decent shirt with buying (home or away) and maybe some quality merchandise too.
