Just happened upon a very bizarre Facebook rant by the man himself, taking a double swipe at Khaled and Gally. Off his rocker.
Only in an alternative reality one million steps removed from our own should the words "the reev" and "entertaining" ever be considered plausible in the same sentence.
I tend to the view that people we disagree with can sometimes still be entertaining. Be a boring world if we were all the same, wouldn't it?
It wasn't his difference in opinion I had issues with. It was the fact that you couldn't start a thread about anything without him turning it into an anti Lee Johnson thread. It made the forum unreadable, and killed off any opportunity for a good reasoned debate.
I think we should use the close season as an amnesty for the loonies. They'll have got themselves banned again by the time meaningful debate resumes in August and they'll supply entertainment to see us through....
I'm really against banning people unless it's last resort. Hemmsy for example - had some very interesting things to say, until he went on his anti Hassel, Norwood etc crusades. Personally I'd bring him back. I didn't particularly like thereev or find him very amusing, but I didn't think he was offensive in any way. Can anyone remember why he got banned?
Not so sure pictures of people should be posted on here without their permission tbf. You don't know that the bloke does for a living and it could compromise him. That's if it's him like.
I know why Hemmsy was ultimately banned, but not Thereev. People can forget that trolling is against the forum rules. If nothing else, he was a massive troll. Arguably one of the biggest.
