Leicester City are considering legal action against Everton following their relegation as they allege Everton breached FFP and should have been deducted points. Lol. You cheated to get up in the first place. Suck it up buttercup.
Aye, hence why I'll be surprised if anything happens with Everton any time soon. City will weasel their way out of anything due to majority of charges being minor. Ill be very very very surprised if they don't just get another slap on the wrist fine for not complying properly.
Probably get out of it like they did with the uefa ban a few seasons back. They will have the best lawyers in the world world working on it to weasel their way out. And minor charges? They've been charged with breaking ffp rules 115 times in 9 years they won the league on 3 occasions in that time. They've spend over a billion since pep took over hope they get their titles stripped.
Premier League has different rules. Can't remember anyone being deducted points since its inception 31 years ago yet I'm pretty sure teams like Chelsea, Man City Blackburn etc couldn't have abided by FFP
I hope they win the title for the next 9 years, take that black cloth off your head Redrum, being charged & being guilty are two different things
Why do you hope they win it for the next 9 years? Because stones plays there? You don't get charged with 115 breaches of ffp unless they have some hard evidence on you. Them and psg chatged by eufa a few seasons back got a ban which then got lowered to a suspended ban and big fine. I've no doubt they have spent well over ffp rules they don't have the kind of world wide fan base united real or barca have. But pep has spent over 1 billion in his time there not to mention all the wages etc. I used to actually like city when they played at maine Road but for me there everything I dislike about football. Hope the Arab gets bored and ***** off.
City's net spend (Ins less Outs) over his period there is something like £660m. By comparison Man United have a net spend on excess of £900m and very little to show for it. Chelsea have a net spend of £800m and even Arsenal have a net spend of almost £650m. Other than the fact that these are all eye watering amounts the thing I take from them are that, like him or not, he's getting better results for the money than his direct competitors. Liverpool, who have been his nearest competitors most seasons, have a net figure of almost £270m. I wonder how they might have done had they been able to match them pound for pound? Other notable values (and failures?) are Spurs and West Ham who have net figures above £400m.
People keep quoting these net transfer numbers like wages and income (proper income, not 'sponsorship' income from associated Arab state controlled sources) don't matter. They're just nonsense.
Manslaughter City (because they get away with football murder!!), were fined several billion quid, next week, etc. But Senor Peppy Guardiola said he's going to pay it, because its just mere pocket change to him and the club anyway, etc. And there you have it, all sarcasm aside... what can we/the rest of us do about it ?.
