My late Dad introduced me to Barnsley Football Club. As much as I still love him and miss him every single day, he has a lot to answer for!
I lost my dad 31 years ago but my lifes filled with great memories of him. For my Fathers Day me , my son and granddaughter are going to Old Trafford tomorrow to watch England. Happy Fathers Day one and all.
I'd like to thank my dad to introducing my to Barnsley fc. 1979 my first game. That win over Grimsby to go up. and not long after was a golden period of Glavin Aylott Banks Mccarthy et all.
My thoughts to all of you too .,,, Couldn’t get down to Royston today but have made a lovely tub of red and white geraniums to take next weekend! Let’s hold firm to the memories especially those centred around BFC.
My dad walked away from me 35 years ago. He's not missed. I may not be the greatest Dad but my kids know I do my best and I'll be there for them in every way I can.
That's very sad mate. My dad saw us in the Premier League then passed away the following season. His dad (my granddad) saw us win the Division 3 North title three times. They used to take me down Oakwell together as 3 generations of the family. Now I'm the granddad going to matches with my son and grandson occasionally. Your dad and as a result yourself have missed out tremendously.
