    Anyone ever used them?

Looking at getting the MOT and a service done. Local garage seems to be charging a small fortune, and they're pretty much the next closest and seem cheaper.

    Cheers

I think they'll be like other chains - halfrauds etc in that they will conveniently find a nice few things that "need doing" during the test.

Used them for my son's MOT for years. Never failed his car even when we thought they would.

Fixed his exhaust and when a small part failed (out of warranty) they fixed it free of charge when doing a service.

This is the one on Huddersfield Road. Brilliant set of guys, world recommend them without a second thought.

Cheers mate. The one we're looking at is in Sheffield, near Centertainmemt, but with it being a chain, you'd hope the standard is fairly similar.

Had front tyres changed at Halfrauds. Telling em one on the near side had a very slow leak. Fitted. Same fault appeared on the offside. I thought swapped em round. And got a damaged rim or summat. Took it to a local garage. Halfrauds didn't clean the crap from the wheel afore fitting a new tyre.
    Local guy. Mapplewell sorted it.
    Cant comment on Euromaster Tbf.

Halfrauds (Halifax) said my car needed the front discs changing; took it to ATS on Huddersfield Road and the guy said there's nothing wrong with them and they're hardly worn.

Had a split on a valve few months ago, my regular garage is the other side of barnsley so I limped it down to ATS on Huddersfield Rd and they sorted it out for nothing there and then.

    Would definitely use them again.

Used them last month and I’d never use them again, that’s mainly because they smashed all the under tray and front bumper on my BMW M3 when driving it onto the ramp and then tried telling me the damage was already done.

luckily the other lad in the workshop told his manager what had happened, they take it away for fixing next week. I only used them as I was struggling for time. My advice? Go elsewhere, it’s cheaper and they’re not as fussy.
